Deleting everything we hold.

You can have every trace of yourself removed from fitcrop. There is no form to fill in and nothing to justify.

How to ask

Use whichever way you already reach us:

• In the app or on askfitcrop.com. Open preferences and tap delete account.
• Instagram. Message @askfitcrop with the word delete.
• Text. Reply delete to any message we have sent you.
• Email. hello@askfitcrop.com, telling us the phone number, Instagram handle or login email to erase. We will confirm on that number, account or address before deleting anything, so that an email cannot erase someone else's data.

Asking from the account itself is how we know the request is yours: being logged in to the app, the Instagram account, the phone, or a reply from the email address you log in with. We would rather not invent a heavier identity check for a service that deliberately holds almost nothing about you.

What gets deleted

Everything that is about you:

• your phone number or Instagram-scoped ID
• your login: the email address, the name and picture Google shared if you signed in with Google, and our link to your Apple ID if you signed in with Apple
• every message you have sent us, and every reply we sent you
• the record of which reels you sent and what you asked about them
• your saved products, favourite brands and budget

This is permanent. If you message us again afterwards you will arrive as a stranger, which is the point.

What stays, and why

A reel we have already analysed is kept, along with the clothing images cropped from it. That is not a copy of your data. It is a shared cache: it is what lets the next person who sends the same reel get an answer instantly, and it exists identically whether or not you ever used fitcrop. Nothing in it points back to you once you are deleted.

We also keep a count of how often a shopping link was tapped, with no person attached to it. It tells us a merchant works and tells us nothing about you.

If you are in a reel, rather than someone who sent one, that cache is the thing you want removed. Send us the link and we will delete the reel itself.

If you only want it to stop

Text stop instead. We stop messaging you and your data stays where it is, so you can pick it back up later. Deletion is the irreversible one.
