The rules, in plain words.

These terms cover fitcrop: the @askfitcrop account on Instagram, text messages with us, and this website. By using any of them you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What fitcrop does

You share a public Instagram reel or post with us. We look at the clothing in it and send back links to where the same or similar pieces are sold. fitcrop is free, and you do not need an account to use it on Instagram.

Links go to other stores

Every product link takes you to a store we do not own or run. We do not sell anything and we never handle your payment. We are not responsible for what those stores sell, how they ship, or how they treat your data, and their own terms and policies apply once you leave fitcrop.

Results can be wrong

Finding a garment in a video is done by software, and it gets things wrong. A result can be the wrong item or only a lookalike, and it can be sold out or cost something different by the time you tap it. Check the store's own page before you buy.

No warranty

fitcrop is provided as it is, with no promise that it will always be available, accurate or suited to any particular purpose. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using it, including a purchase that turns out not to be what you expected.

Using it fairly

• Do not send abusive, hateful or illegal messages.
• Do not flood @askfitcrop with automated or scripted messages, and do not use scripts to scrape results out of the service.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
• Only share reels and posts that you can see publicly.

We may stop responding to, or block, anyone who does these things.

Other people's content

Reels, posts and photos belong to the people who made them, and product photos belong to the stores and brands that took them. fitcrop does not claim ownership of any of it. We use a reel only to find the clothing in it, show what we cropped from it only to people who shared that reel with us, and link every product photo back to the store it came from.

If you own something shown in fitcrop and want it taken down, email hello@askfitcrop.com with a link to it and a line saying it is yours. We remove it, usually within a few days, and you do not need an account to ask. If you appear in a reel, the privacy policy explains that side too.

Age

You must be at least 13 to use fitcrop.

Changes, and ending the service

fitcrop is new and it will change. We may add, change or remove features, update these terms, or stop the service altogether. If the terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you on the channel you already use to talk to us.
